Default Comp Stud Gridle 4021 on EQ320 heads?

I've seen MT post about using comp stud girdle 4035 for RHS/EQ320 heads which have a 24 degree valve, I believe.

can I run comp stud girdle 4021 on my EQ320 heads, which I believe is set up for stock valve angles?

Before you give me the "just but the right one, there the same price", I can pick up a 4021 cheap so that's why I'm asking.

Although summit claims figment for stock 26 deg heads I did notice that a question was asked down lower on the Q&A and RHS heads were asked if the 4021 would work and reply from summit was yes. Ck it out.

I do remember MT using the 4035 and had perfect fit. Would be interesting to call comp on dif btwn the 4021 and 4035. Possible narrower or wider rocker? Not sure. I was gonna get the jomar 1114's for promaxx heads but I have crane rockers. Not sure if that's gonna be an issue or not. Ideally shaft mount. By the time it's all said and done not a bunch more in cost and get perfect all the way around. Can't remember the ones Rookie was talking about but believe they're made in Australia??? Much less than most other good shaft mount.

I called comp they said 4021 would work but the angle is off. I'm not sure what the difference in valve angle is between 088 and EQ320 is.

But I don't trust either summit or comp " customer service" to actually know what there taking about.

That's why I'm asking.

Can anyone confirm if the 4021 will work with EQ320 heads without pulling them out of alignment?

F2 do u need two piece valve cover or will the Hardin style cover clear without any grinding. OT it's to bad when you can't trust techs anymore or can you. The 088's are definately 26deg and the eq's 24 deg. Let alone other factors. You ever take a straight edge across your rocker studs. BBC's are here there and everywhere like a bad hair day. Nothing like SBC. You'll hear of guys using girdles that were built for GM heads and claim they work on brodix and dart etc also. I remember black Baja swearing he used like one fits near all. Not my way of doing things. Whoever sells eq heads should tell you exactly what to use. Period. Not what ones not to use. You'll notice same BBC girdle manufacturer with multiple different part numbers due to the difference in heads. Improper girdle alignment can be more detrimental than none at all.

I dont doubt one bit some can be mix matched. A lot of relabeling goes on also but no biggy sclong as you get the right ones. Example I believe jomar makes for Howard's and so on.

Heck ck I think it was ezstripper or some other OSO member who was using the cheap eBay ones on multiple different heads. Or at least went from 088's to darts anyway with no issues. Makes no sense given the difference in the heads but...

Get the 4035's that for sure work if you go comp.

Just to let you know I just found an add on the comp 4021's and they were advertised for BBC brodix-2 heads. But....

I am using one of those comp cams girdles on my RHS heads thats made for the RHS heads, It fits perfect and sits under cast ali covers no problem. You just need to make sure the girdle is for the correct part number, They fit perfect, if it only fits 99% its the wrong one and you will break studs...
