I use a 3/8" dump out the side at the rear of the boat. As for dumping it on the drive like a shower a TRS circulates the gear lube in the drive from bottom to top so they really don't need a shower. You'll find there are very few drive showers on the market for a TRS, like 1.

I have the one that Kirk from k.c.marine developed. It looks like a heat exchanger with about 10 small tubes running thru it. It works great I never see my oil temp go above 110-125 and that running at steady 4K rpms. Having the oil temp gauge and oil pressure gauge is a great thing to install you can keep an eye on the transmissions functions.
