They might be using different combos to off some over stock parts. 4.250 crank 6.385 good proven combo with a 9.8 deck. Can always check around a bit before pulling the trigger.

Is the piston compromised (example: ring land needing support rail or etc?) going to a 6.535 rod in a standard deck ? I have no idea and I'm in no mood to do any math. Thanks.

The 4.600" je piston comes with an oil ring support rail, the piston is also a little lighter than the 6.385" rod setup.
