Yeah sorry. I’m not working on a fast boat. The one next to it is faster. 7m ex-military RIB with a 250 outboard. Will do 50 (I know that’s still not fast to you all)

Well the new A-frame worked great. Engine is out, that was easy enough. The engine looks really good, I guess the seller was actually honest.

I meed to pull the clutch and bell housing off to get it on the stand. Anything I need to be careful of doing that.

Whats a good manual for assembly and disassembly? I’ve seen plenty of links to mercruiser manuals in PDF, do I just need to find the right one?

Clutch?? I think you just have a bell housing,coupler, and flywheel.

your are correct. I’m a car guy so still leaning proper terminology. Bell housing popped off with just a couple bolts. Looks like the flywheel sat in some water for a while. Anything to be concerned of? Oil looks good, the dipstick is fresh clear oil. So far the previous owner was accurate about everything, the engine looks pretty clean. Said it was a fresh water engine with 200 hours.
