Did your kit come with a row of T's. That plus the end cap resistor and that part labeled C is Called the NMEA 2000 Backbone. What do those Square plugs you left in go to? Looks Like Smartcraft stuff. I Know they make a box that will convert that to NMEA 2000.

I know the Square plugs go into the unit you removed but where do they go from there?

Ya that is just for the Gateway.. lol for a 1000 bucks you would think it came with a NMEA backbone. Anyway this should complete your setup.

Lol ok I’ll order that too!! If I order enough stuff eventually it will work right??? Lol |
Yes it will. How many Simrad screens are you running? Anything else going to need NMEA 2000 connectivity.. Like fusion radio or anything else?

2 simrad screens, one for Nav and one for gauges/smartcraft. Only other thing hooked in will likely be stereo and fuel level. |
https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...8474a2f77.jpeg Got the first Simrad unit installed and hooked onto the NMEA/Smartcraft backbone, but it does not give me the 1075 option when selecting what type of engines I have. I’m sure it is just a matter of downloading something, but anyways just waiting on Outerlimits to send me back a new blank carbon dash and I’m going to put a 12” Simrad on the other side. |
