At this stage of the game it would be futile to offer any ideas that might alter what you have already accomplished.
What I see here is very nice but back to the planning stage.
Will your line of sight be over the faring?
Will the oncoming wind velocity be directed to your line of sight or over your head?
Having thought this out on my own boat and a previous owned boats, these questions have always been considered.
I would include a small lip at the top of the front panels so to direct the air over my head. It does not have to be very tall, maybe 1 1/2". Now you can also play with the angle of that lip to maximize the effect. Meaning angle it forward slightly.
Having said all of this, the height of your framework could have been lower, giving it a lower profile look.
Check out a 33' Outlaw or some of the Fountains.
They have done something similar to what I have described.

Rob,
Looks good IMO.
My boat has the race fairing and my line of sight is approx 6" above it. I get a lot of wind. If I duck down just a bit, wind goes right over. I can place my hand in front to simulate a flip up. Surprising how very little it would take to work. BTW, are you the rws with the Cig. from 76 Falls I talked with this spring?
Jerry

Yes Jerry I was at 76 Falls.I could not go much lower because the dash sticks up above the flat area.I plan to incorperate some sort of lexan deflector .We have a thermal bender at work that do the job.Are you still thinking about a bigger boat?

That looks great. I have similar plans drawn up for the Magnum. And I like the plastic, racing bolster. I have one just like it in my boat too. ; )

Question: Did you consider having one fab'd out of 3/16" aluminum sheet. My local sheetmetal shop quoted a price of ~$475, complete minus paint. They would basically shear out the panels, break a 1" mounting tab on the bottom and weld the side wings to the forward section.

Also, your deck appears to have a significant radius to it. The Magnum does to. What type of hatch cover have you got to go in there? A PO apparently broke my original and replaced it with some flat plexi - a real nice, custom touch, NOT.

Scott,
Braking one up out of sheet metal was the original plan, but like everything else on this project that would have been too easy! The deck where the side sits is not straight (front to back) I could have gotten away with that in the front but not on the sides. There is a Bomar hatch that goes there.
