That's how it is in my original drawing and pics.

If you can feed it from the front of one fuel rail, tie the rear of of the fuel rails together and mount the regulator on the front of the other fuel rail, you shouldn't have anything in the way of the distributor and will severely reduce the chance of vapor lock.

Yep, agree. That's how mine is in the photo above.

I'm running dash 8, which is 1/2 inch hose from my tank to my rails. My regulator was supplied with 2 -8AN ORB inlets with 1 -6AN ORB return. I'm running -8 for my return hose, but it is -6 ORB to -8AN male fitting.

The new doglegged rail mount worked great..

Plumbed my manifold today. Apparently the simplest was the easiest.

Hot off the printer, I just finished finished printing my 2" Throttle body spacers. Top 1" of straight into 1" of round full port transition.

looks great,,what 3d printer do you have?

Those spacers look nice. A word of warning on your fuel rails though. I had a similar setup with the fuel regulator mounted to the fuel rail. The extra weight of the regulator caused the mounts on that side to break in some very rough water allowing the the injectors to come out of the manifold. This happened to me twice before I made some mounts out of stainless steel, the original mounts were made out of aluminum.
