If you can feed it from the front of one fuel rail, tie the rear of of the fuel rails together and mount the regulator on the front of the other fuel rail, you shouldn't have anything in the way of the distributor and will severely reduce the chance of vapor lock.

Rookie, what size fuel lines are you running from thr tank to the rail, and what size return line to tank?

The new doglegged rail mount worked great..
https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...39eb46afcd.jpg Plumbed my manifold today. Apparently the simplest was the easiest. . https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...01c7136752.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...d12c97aade.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...678842a634.jpg |
Also printed up fuel pump mounts and fuel filter mounts.

Hot off the printer, I just finished finished printing my 2" Throttle body spacers. Top 1" of straight into 1" of round full port transition.

Those spacers look nice. A word of warning on your fuel rails though. I had a similar setup with the fuel regulator mounted to the fuel rail. The extra weight of the regulator caused the mounts on that side to break in some very rough water allowing the the injectors to come out of the manifold. This happened to me twice before I made some mounts out of stainless steel, the original mounts were made out of aluminum.
