Tailpipe Muffler?
Can anyone provide some insight on what these cans are that are welded on my tails? 1990 Formula 357SR1 Mercruiser 420’s and TRS.

When i was looking at the different part numbers available, the risers are all listed as optional. It does seem like some kind of muffler. Some 420s have this riser while others have straight. Both are listed when looking at the diagrams.
