Default Bennett Marine Auto trim tab problems

I have a Bennett Marine Auto Tab Control (ATC) that I'm installing on my cruiser and I have everything wired correctly but the unit does not function. The instructions suck as far as diagnostics. The unit is a AC3000 Has anybody used this system before and could answer some questions for me.

I’d be surprised if anyone on this site has used an auto tab system.

I think most everyone here likes pushing buttons but I could be wrong.

I installed auto trimpro on my cruiser a=in late 2017 and had lots of issues. Spent many days with Bennett and finally got it going at the end of last season

What issues are you having?

Per the directions, the existing trim switches plug into the processor module and then the relay module goes between the processor module and the trim tab pump. According to what I read I still should be able to control the trim tabs with the existing tab switches. but I get nothing. I have pressed the sun and moon buttons to establish a zero point. When I hold down the on/off button for longer than 3 seconds to turn the unit on, I can only get the red on indicator to flash on once and both up indicators on the tab direction flash. I cant get the on indicator to stay on either.
I tried calling Bennett but their offices are closed and they are only responding to tech help by email.

Sounds similar to my issue, and the control unit has a problem. I think I went thru 5 controllers before it started working. It started messing up this season and did send an email last month but have not heard back. I don't think there working at all.

Looking at the manual its wired same as the ATP. My guess is its installed correctly but there is an issue with the unit

Call Bennett directly, They have fantastic customer service, and occasionally they even chime in here on the forum.

Their customer service number is closed down due to carona. I sent them a email 3 days ago and haven't received a response.

Just saw this. Unfortunately I installed mine last winter and have had issues with mine right out of the gate.

Tabs don't automatically retract after ignition being turned off.

Tabs don't retract after going into no wake speed.

A few times the buttons were unresponsive. (big problem if you can't lift the bow in big waves)

Never was able to test the auto trim as I never set my "preferences". I just always used them as normal tabs. I did do the acceleration programming.

Now I see fluid leaking from one of the actuators after 1 season.

.
