I`m 4.4% over about 7psi during the summer 8#`s when the temps drops.
45 top 47 bottom

about 120* after a good run in the heat of summer.
109* when the water and ambient temps drops.

Doesn't this solve your 10-71 problem? An 8.3L Whipple in disguise. :)

That`s what we`ve been talking about yes .
They make a EFI version with 10 injectors in the back also.

All things being equal; temp under intercooler and boost, 200hp would mean the roots takes 200hp to turn over a whipple?
It would also mean that my 548ci at 8psi would make 1200hp.
It took 6800rpm and 13lbs of boost for your engine MIke to hit 1206hp.
Just doesn`t add up.

Eddie young did a back to back and got over a 100hp difference 10-71 vs 8.3 whipple.

I`ll be happy with a 75hp . at the same boost level .

Correct Dan, Bob Teague also did a back to back with a 598 cu inch & 1471 vs 8.3 L and difference was right at 100 Hp definitely no 200 hp

What was the torque differences? A Hi Helix roots blower to a non Hi Helix roots was more 50-75HP & 100 ft lbs on a dyno back to back pulls of a friends motor.

You got those already? The axials work better than the top feeders, but top feed looks cool and would be less work for you.

Not yet , going down to LOTO pto pick up .
The top mount is 2" taller than a 10-71 .. I don`t have the space

My advise would be to buy new intake manifolds from Whipple for Port injection. This will help with fuel distribution. Running the fuel through the blower from the throttle body usually loads up the front 4 cylinders with fuel and leans out the back 4. I know bc of hours on the dyno with both set ups. This will also help docking manners and make programming easier
