Disclaimer! I did buy Crane Cams for my latest project engines, but they are a different platform, solid roller stuff

I did visit their shop, can't argue ICDEDPPL's point, but also can't argue with their results either.

Kind of funny it was the mustang 302 boss I had to reinstall the ultradyne back in the engine after rebuild with the new grind/cam. What was strange is the specs were fairly close. That was a 8,000 rpm engine.

Just a smart business move. Not the end of Edelbrock. Better explanation here

What rpm did that peak at? Healthy cam for a 454. Marine or street.

Were those used in combo with Merlin heads?

I didn’t know that and I have a strange (obvious) feeling we’re going to see a lot more of that happening over the next couple to several years. How quickly times change. Are we going to see the times when your only able to get fuel from the black market?

Marine, I shut the dyno down at 6500 590HP. It was still building a little bit of power, but I didn't care what that number would be. Peak TQ was 563 @ 5200. Yes the Merlin heads. I can't remember if I ran them for a hot second with heads Dart cast for Valako. I'll have to check my notes.

I just installed a hydraulic roller Bullet custom grind. They were really nice and quick to get me my new specs. My only issue was I had to install it 6 degrees advanced to match the cam card and the 109 intake lobe center.

I am hoping to get it dyno'd soon. This is in a 555 BBC

we run a bullet grind number CHB 286/292-10r solid on a 540 with a dominator it has great manners does not load up, has smooth power all the way up the power band and really lights off at around 5800 we turn it to 6800 a bit north of 800 hp valve lash scared me at first at 26 thou hot but it is quiet(rocker noise) and reliable the exhaust has a very sharp crackle i did not swap firing order because its hard to remember its different i like the keep it simple thing

I rember you original build sigle patern cam. I need to contact you about your water plumbing as I have the thermostat oil coolers like yours. I'm amazed they spec'd that cam with the said duration.
