The procharger kits for the 496 have been self contained the past few years, so it depends on how old your system is.

BTW when I switched from 25w-40 merc conventional oil to 15w-50 Mobil 1 synthetic, my oil pressure drop after a hard run didn't happen near as much. (Again, a whipple supercharged 496HO)
