Default Update on Marlin 26 restore , exhaust question

Bought this boat didn’t know anything about it . When I first got it , it was plasti dipped black . Removed it all. I Got stuck on the lake first time out and bought another bravo one outdrive on Craigslist, it broke on my also. I took parts out of one and it’s running great now . Also had to change prop hub assembly , I was not gaining speed at high rpm .

2 questions ..

1. the original engine was changed for a big block Chevy 454 . It looks like it used to have thru hulls, they are now capped and exhaust runs out through prop . I want thru hulls but they do not line up . How / what can I use to get this connected back ?

2. They plasti dipped the top of the boat also , but it looks like there is paint underneath this plasti dip on top of the gel coat which covered up a nice graphic . should i try and remove the paint ? What can I do , vinyl wrap?

I like the cabinet storage on the 260 there. The 240 I have pretty much just has the large cushion and the rest is open space.
