Default closed cooling?

I'm having a problem finding an heat exchanger to fit under the engine hatch, How many are running raw water systems in salt water. Its a brand new engine and I would hate to but salt water thru it, Can the heat exchanger port be desolder and repositioned without damaging the cooler?

^^ Going remote is a great option ^^
We get so used to seeing factory front mount installations that we often think it's the only way .
For some time now Volvo has been putting theirs upright (from the factory) on the front stbd side .
Def want that FWC though !

1/2 system is block only. (exhaust manifold and riser gets the salt)
full system is block and manifold (risers get the salt), but you probably know that.

Park 35 That's a nice clean heat exchange system. Is it a kit? I am in the process of rebuilding my 27 Activator engine and want to convert to a heat exchange system. Did your system come with the brackets and hoses or did you fabricate. Can you tell me the brand kit or make and length of the intercooler. Thank you for any info you you can give me. Very nice Job and also engine!.
