Didn’t you use the lunati grind? I know I’m old school staying NA “for now” anyway but just wanna keep it simple and not brake the bank. I’m really curious how the mike jones cams I.R. “Inverse radius” lobes work out. Again old school but…. He claims very easy on the valvetrain. I just wanted to try them out!

I kinda always thought with the same amount of porting etc the gains would be minimal btwn several of them.

If I see 700 plus “anything” at More Power Racing’s dyno I’d be happy. Just want a good tune and reliable engines. Since they did all my machining, balancing etc I had them do the assemblies since everything was there.

I always got a kick out of that engine I believe you dyno’d smitty with the chinamen intake and out performed others. 😂
Please keep us up to date the flow difference. I have the Brodix HV2000 that's been mildly ported. It was recommended to me for more mid range torque than other open plenums. It must be true, I can break my Bravo 30p loose even when on plane.

Mike was pretty certain with preliminary flow numbers etc the cams would peak at 6k and carry to 6,300. Valako’s guess was higher by a few hundred like 6,300 and carry some. We’ll see what happens.

I was lucky to even get these grinds due to the shortage of cores. When I was ready to place the order comp and lunati as well as bullet were waiting for core shipments. I really wanted the HUC lobe.

Finished product going to dyno end of next week + -. We ended up going with the Brodix 4500 platform intake with some timely mods. Our thoughts and ideas with the profilers would work but would require a lot of work considering all being done. If they don’t sell then I told him to do one up during his spare time and I’d install one in the boat for a side by side actual comp. I don’t think enough to really even see but not sure. It’s more for R&D purposes.

These should be a fairly healthy set of NA builds without anything crazy going on. Been a long project but paying as I go and have no Fken boat payment. I absolutely hate banks!

So what you are saying is I'm not going to be tripping over these at the shop any longer. LOL
Will be nice to see you get these builds together and on the dyno.
BTW, good looking ports...

👍. About time huh! Yup one set delivered to MP yesterday and one more set to finish up. I’m pretty excited for summer. Be my first in a long time. Finally sold out so I’m not working 7 days a week. Dyno primarily for a base tune.

Just a little update. We ran into P/V clearance issues with the bigger valves so had to disassemble short blocks and fly cut the pistons. Back on track but about two months behind schedule. Now ready for the dyno tune.
