Default Running a Blackhawk drive

Recently had Blackhawk 1.36 built . I’m currently running 31 p props . Tested this weekend and looks like I’ll need more pitch cause I’m over revving . Anyone know of a prop guy that has experience in these props . Thanks , Hf…

BBlades would prob be your best bet, but you can only adjust pitch by about 1" which will reduce about 200rpms and maybe reduce another 200rpms with added cup. You might be better off to change to 1.25 ratio gears.

If you're over revving then are you running a 100+mph ???

Was trying to keep the rpm under 6000 at full peak . I run a 598 na Eddie Young for power . I’m not exactly sure where it’s gonna stop climbing . Seems like it’s gonna go past 6500 and beyond . I just ain’t sure how far beyond ? Hf…

If it's not making power past 6000 there is no reason in the world to rev it past it. What RPM does Eddie say prop to?

A Blackhawk is not gonna last very long behind that much power anyway. Save your $$$ for an SCX.
