Default Hp525. What would u do

So I have a issue. I have two 2007 hp 525 with around 300 hours. No injection just what u see in the pics. I have #3 Speedmaster and Doug Nash transmissions all aluminum with deep sump pans 10 plates. 10 meter fountain race layup very light.
my question is what would u do. Blowers, intakes and dominators?
I plan on running p4 class and use the boat a lot. Should I sell what I have and start over? Would love to hear your guys thoughts.

Just based on speed. 85mph limit. more or less need to finish. I raced a similar boat in 2008. Had super cat motors in it. Need a lot of acceleration out of the turns to get back up to speed quickly.

I'd shop around and try to find the parts you are missing. Teague has a lot of used parts laying around. Make them back into complete 525s. I would think that would put you right about where your class requires.

In that case Id build what you have with a good intake and carb, it would take a lot of money to turn those into working 525 EFI's

that was my thoughts. Prolly be the fastest solution also.
wouldn’t I have to change or redrill my Cmi spit tops to fit the head configuration?

I’d agree and a lot of work and screwing around looking for this that and the other meticulous odds and ends. Sell off the intakes buy a couple others and carbs and your good.

If you do decide to go that route I’ve got a couple of (new) std deck profiler intakes I haven’t listed yet. That’s the other concern is what are your availability options. That alone might help you decide.

If those are the 525 Mercury aluminum heads they have a proprietary bolt pattern so you'd need to drill what you have or get some CMI sweepers
