swapped coil wires and dist. cap. ugh

When you swapped the coil and Dizzy where these wires swapped also or did it stay with the motor?

Thanks for the idea Dodge! Those wires stayed. I'm on it now. BTW I'm all Dodge too cept for these damn Chebbies in the boat. Will reply soon.,

Winner winner Chicken Dinner!!!!
All Dodge pointed me in the right direction. I checked the grounds at the coil which I thought was the dist wire but, I had it and the other motor running to the transom grounds for whatever reason. Both will get moved tomorrow.
Looks like this ground got into the coupler. Lesson learned and thanks to all for playing along. Love this site.
I owe AllDodge dinner or drinks! Thanks Brother!

That's Sarasota Bay in the background beached at South Lido Park in Big Pass.
This is Sanibel last winter too and a great hotel in St James City.
