TOMZ, when hitting WOT at mid engine rpm, the orig factory timing would drop to 20 deg and until it hit high rpm. When i redid the timing on a sraight climb to go from 15 deg at1500 rpm, to 34 deg at 2500 rpm it made a world of difference in torque. Felt like a different motor. Had never had issues.

I do always run premium fresh gas though. It might be okay on regular, I am just not going to risk it. See too many rebuilt motors from detonation on regular gas and sometimes old gas.
