Default Big Block Chevy Ing Timing

Looking for a little guidance here in regards to my ign timing map for my 468. This is an EFI engine controlled via a AEM infinity, running at 575sci blower with the smaller pulley (8ish psi) and intercooler, roller cam. Not looking for max power just reliability and a safe tune on 93. Any thoughts / concerned with this timing map ?

yeah it looked low, it was just the base map but I am more familiar with Imports with higher revs and much higher boost. Thanks for posting your table.

I'm not familiar with boosted motors, but a have advanced the timing on my mefi 3 mpi by quite a bit and talk about feel like a different motor. Gained 3+ mph. I like the chart tinimg ICEDEDPPl has around the 0 manifold pressure area. Mine's actually a couple degrees higher for the same RPM/man pressure, but i do always run premium and i am not having to drive a blower either. I appreciate all the knowledge that others give on here. Thats how i started learning, along with a LOT of trial and error. LOL.

Good luck.

I remember you asking about adding timing. How much did you end up adding?

tomz, stock was 29 or 29.5 but not until got righ t at WOT around approx 4800/4900 or so, I dont recall exactly, would have to look at the mefi3 tables. I went to 34 deg at 2500 rpm, 35 deg at 4800rpm. Only run premium.

Would have been fun to try when I had it running the MPI. Totally different now.
