Good to know. I used the upper one and the oil temp I'm getting at the filter block with an "inline" fitting. Thanks for your help.

Left one coolant temp sensor to gauge.
Right one coolant temp switch for overheat alarm.

That's actually a really good setup you have there. Probably make some good money back off of it or keep it as a spare for the MSD.

Left: Pressure switch for alarm. Usually for oil psi.

Right: knock (detonation) sensor

I "ditched" not "pitched". I have it all in boxes.

So I stripped out the brass plug above the oil filter location at the block. The socket on the plug, not the block. Anyway, I would still like to have the alarm go off for low or no oil pressure and am wondering if I can install the sensor at the filter head? I would assume if this will work that I would NOT install it where the arrow is pointing in. If there's another location please let me know. Thanks for the help.

Is brass plug a allen head or hex head? If it's and allen put a punch in center of the plug and hit it a few times with a hammer. This will shock it loose, then drive a bigger allen in and remove the plug. If it's a hex head get a "turbo socket " and remove the plug.
