Default Hardin marine engine mounts for side stringer mounted Vs pedestal mount

https://imcomarine.com/cal_store/engine-mounts-kit.html

I replaced a rotted stringer in my 96 Baja and the cause was Baja from the factory just lagged them down with no sealant so over time water got around the lag and totally rotted the stringer. I was going to make a saddle mount to go around side bolt to the stringer then bolt the pedestal mount to that so nothing is lagged into the stringer.

When I went to purchase a set of Hardin billet mounts I saw this side mount kit but my fear is it pushes the mount to far inboard and the engine mount will no longer line up. Anyone use this kit?
