MEFI 1 ECM problems
Hi anyone know anything about MEFI1 ECMs? Could a short in mefi 1 cause the alarms to go off constantly and the switched ground from the ecm to the DLC connected to go dead? The brown and white wire.
but the engine still starts and runs? Or am I looking at a fault elsewhere?

Have you disconnected each alarm sensor one at a time to see if the alarm stops???
My boat had one of my alarm sensor wires spliced at the engine. The spice came apart and the wire was grounding and setting off the alarm. You could have an alarm wire rubbed through and grounding somewhere.
