be careful on changing parts plunger depth need to stay the same so you dont get into changing puss rods also

Right now the plan is to use the GM lifters that came with the short block, most likely requiring new pushrods.

This cam seems to have the right duration and lift, except it is 112 LSA. Old cam is 114.

500efi and 525efi cam clones. For your boat, I'd prob go with the 500efi cam which is essentially a Crane 731 on a 114

Thanks Griff

Are these cams compatible with GM lifters that came with new engine?
The lift is slightly more than the MK cam, will they require stiff springs?

Thanks!

No, they are not.

No, they have two holes swapped. I don't remember which ones.

The cam and springs below seem to be what to be what I need. Teague said they have both in stock, and can ship
same or next day, which is a major plus. Springs were suggested by them, and they didn't see a problem
with the stock lifters being used.

Can’t you re-use the cam from old engine that matches the heads and valve train that your moving to the new block? Would match your other engine as is…?

Crower cams might have something you are looking for. 221/230 @.050 on a 114 LSA in a SBC and no reversion. Something along that line should work.
