Mine is mounted to the offshore mount under the front of the motor.

these aren’t the best pictures, but see if they help give an idea. Please ignore the drops of oil along the stringer. I still have some post-oil change cleanup to do.

Seems an aluminum reservoir tank is sufficient for cooling. Add air cooling fins if required.
One engine,
The indicators come in handy ... work great even under water .
My last set up had the GM pump with built in resevoir, that got to 170*.
This set up is a Jones pump with remote resevoir. Seems to run cooler even thou I`m moving larger #6 drives that take a few more turns vs. the #5 drives.

I mounted my fuel cooler in the bilge on the intercooler stage of the pump.
There`s that option, doesnt have to be on motor .
