The fuel is a concern now after thinking about it. I may have grabbed a few gallons last spring out of my old fuel storage barrels from when I drained the boat. Meant for lawnmowers etc however I might have gotten in a pinch.

I’ll put another 5g of fresh in on top of the 3 or 4 I put in to get to the station.

Forgot you mentioned it fired on ether, probably has spark. I would also drain the fuel before adding fresh. You may be able to use the fuel pump to do this buy unhooking the feed line at the motor, or if it has a return line you can unhook at the fuel tank

I think the filter may be built into the pump, you may have fuel lines corroding from the inside and plugging the system up.

I mentioned this on a different post. It turns out my chassis ground wire\strap eroded away.
