I didn`t specify the age but everything in Red is true. You assumed I was fresh off boat .. been in the US for 40 years. You make a lot of Assumptions and bark a lot of orders, that`s off putting.

I know what you're thinking and probably everyone is rolling their eyes at this point but it's ok. Dan and I are good friends again so a little ribbing is acceptable and in order. I just want to clear up something from his last couple of posts. I probably would have contacted Dan via email but he blocked me after my last email so I have to do it here.
I'm pretty sure when you use the word "Diatribe" you probably shouldn't......you know.......diatribe. Believe it or not I don't recall in my long life anyone ever using that word against me or about me. I think it's because I'm actually a decent human being and I think, only me, speaking only for myself, think you are not. I think you have heard the word several times used about you and thought it would be "funny and cool" to try it out here. I don't know if anyone would believe you or not but it would have been better received had you used the word without the hypocrisy. Good grief, being the simple man that I am I know of one word that really encompasses all 3 words but we are friends again so I won't use it.

I'm going to save you from the definitions of "Irony and Hypocrisy" for another time. FYI to Dan and everyone else, I am quite aware of the irony in me writing this because it takes two to have this: "prolonged or exhaustive discussion" but I feel as though I'm helping my friend Dan out.

While I do agree that Rob's posts here on this thread went a bit off the reservation, I do have to say that I think a lot of you were pretty hard on him at times. Perhaps a chance to look a little inward?

And the, "we told you so's," comment - was that really necessary?

Hoping his vacation isn't permanent; he doesn't deserve that kind of punishment, imo.

Totally agree Dave....we all tried helping him in those threads and he took none of our advice, trusted his "builder", and guess what he's in his motors in less that a year. No catastrophic failures but still he's in there having to make changes to valve train components. Parts fail I get that but not adjusting the guide plates and having rockers that far off? I wouldn't trust his builder to assemble a weed wacker motor.

Every thread he starts damn near goes sideways and usually with some kind of rant about Dan or poor him not getting any help. Not sure what the deal is with him but this is a reoccurring pattern/trend that in the aftermath of those dyno threads I have distanced myself from. I just don't have anything to say to this guy. Wish him luck but won't be surprised if it's all bad.

I for one have met Dan in person and talked to him for years via text and on here....he is as straight shooter as they come and if his comments offend you then a good suggestion would be to not try to egg him on. Instigate then play the victim card is a classic liberal move and frankly it's disgusting.
