This doesn’t fit either. To small. Been super sick and finally got around to taking it out of the package. Time to buy a bunch and see what fits then send the others back

That flywheel is not correct. It is for a one pc seal Small Block You need one for a 2 pc seal small block or any big block. If you want a Ram it will be the 1501.

I have 1 piece rear main seal.

I updated my post, auto text turned “ bunch” into “gun” for some reason. Whether the flywheel is for a single or two piece seal I don’t think matters much as the balance does. The 1501 is one of the 4 I bought.

I understand that but yours is a big block. All of the Big Blocks ever made, both 1 and 2 pc seal are the same size where the flywheel bolts on. The only difference is the balance. They are also the same size as the older 2 pc seal small blocks.
The only 1 pc seal cranks that are different are small blocks. Believe me the 1501 is correct. If it does not fit then something else is wrong. It might be a little tight, they all are when new.

Do you have a good way to measure it and the end of the crank ? I just measured 3 different Big Block cranks. One was a 1 pc seal 454. Another was a 1pc seal 502 and one is a 2 pc seal 396. All three of them measure just about 2.485" I also checked an older 350 2pc seal crank and it is the same.

The one in the picture is a 1 pc seal Mercruiser 502

Here is what the inside diameter of the flywheel measures. You can see its only a couple of thousandths difference. This is a used one and has been on and off a few times. Like I said the new ones can be a little snug. See if you can measure the id of the 1501.

I will add one more thing. I have been really disappointed lately in a lot of aftermarket parts so it would not surprise me a single bit if it is made wrong

I seem to remember having a problem with one last year but cant remember if it was a Chevy or a Ford and what brand flywheel it was.
