You dont really need any of the stuff in the evac kit other than the two breathers that you already have on the valve covers. I cant tell for sure but you might actually have a pcv valve ? What is the piece in the hose that the red arrow is pointing to ?

Like I said I bought it done up. So I'm unsure completely what they used. But I think it's just a plastic barb/size change and to extend the hoses from the shorties in the kit. I can double check tomorrow

Looked up some more info on that kit. They say that have check valves in the kit and the weld on pieces are supposed to go to a header? Maybe the check valve goes on the header pieces. Makes sense whay there are so many parts to the kit.

Don’t use / put on an evac kit on a marine engine. Do you know how they work ?

Like SB said that kit is not for a marine engine, period.

If you look at the pictures of my Cousins engine that is how yours should be set up.

yes it uses the exhaust vac to pull crank case pressure.

ok. The funny part is hardin sells the kit as well. Only for use with real headers should be stated imo. Any difference using a pcv vs breather assembly?

I have never seen a performance type marine engine with a pcv system but I am sure they would work. Mainly a pollution thing. If you run the breathers with the hoses going up to the flame arrestor it is basically doing the same thing without the worry of a pcv valve not working correctly. One less thing to go wrong
