Default Kiekhaefer disassemble question

I'm in the process of removing the k-planes from the transom. Some of the pins are seized. I have tried soaking with wd-40 etc. Still no luck. A little reluctant with alot of force in fear of breaking the aluminum. Tried some heat, not budging. HELP!!!

Common problem. Try some PB blast instead of the wd-40 before getting too violent. Mine came out with some pounding after I got them to rotate. Try doing a search. There were any other threads regarding this problem.

I tried a search, could not find anything. I guess I'll try the pb blast. Heard about the stuff works wonders. Anybody else?

Whatever you soak them with, tap on them lightly a bunch of times (an air chisel on low works real good) to get the lube to creep thru the hole.
