We have a brand new Livorsi fuel pressure sending unit and a brand new Livorsi fuel pressure gauge. The gauge is not displaying fuel pressure. How do you test the fuel pressure sending unit? Is it based on ohms or voltage?

I recently tried to install a livorsi rudder indicator, and they sent me the wrong sender for the Rudder.

Jerry,

Most gauges use a reference voltage, usually 12v, and the sender is simply a resistor, regulating voltage. If you're getting nothing, check 12v at the gage and sender, and continuity from the gage to the sender and from sender to ground. One of those will be the problem. Or the gauge is bad.

Thanks. Brad.
