Spoke with my engine guy, and that's what he said too.
Shim the crank pulley out. Shim the water pump pulley out as well. Then just shim the sea pump/ fuel pump bracket out too. Didn't know this was even a thing. I will still look into other options though. Thanks for the suggestions |

PS pulleys are pressed on. They have some fore/aft adjustability.
Alt is under the PS pump? Is the stbd side having issues? How does the water pump pulley line up with the crank pulley? Yes, ALT is under the PS pump. No issue on the STBD side. Engine was dynoed with the sea pump mounted fuel pump. Water pump lines up great. |

Does Hardin/CP Performance make a bracket to fix this? Try calling Hardin Marine and ask them.

The bad news is, I'm an idiot. Not sure what I did wrong with the straight edge? But I found a straight piece of steel dowel rod and placed it on both the back and front of the pulleys. I'll be damned if they didn't match right up. Thanks for the suggestions guys. I'm just going to roll with it and see if i chew up any belts. IF that happens, then I'll look into the crank pulley spacer. |
