Guys,
Just a shoutout to Hilltop Marine in Bronston, KY, between Burnside and Conley Bottom....
I dropped the boat off Monday morning and told them I'd really like to pick it up Friday afternoon or Saturday morning so the CFO and I could spend our anniversary on Cumberland. They initially told me I would be lucky if they got to have a look at it by Friday, let alone have it back together. At the time we (I, at least) thought it was just a linkage adjustment issue, me blaming myself for not knowing how to properly adjust the shift linkage. I get a text from Todd Monday afternoon, with the pics above, informing me that they'd already ordered the parts, and that they should be in on Thursday (today). I asked on Tuesday if they thought they'd have it ready for pickup by Saturday morning and was told "Trending that way". I get a text this morning, telling me it's all back together, tested good on the trailer, and they are going to the ramp to test it under load. Farqin' EH!
Thanks. Brad.

but you have to start wrenching on the boat yourself, it's only about a 45 minute job,

I hear ya, and, yeah, I could have easily done the work myself. I'm getting way more comfortable working on these things. The problem is that I was fairly certain it was a linkage issue, and I figured they could get it sorted out while I was back home. I had no idea it was a broken part issue. I've watched a couple videos surrounding that part, and now realize it was a relatively easy fix.
Thanks. Brad.
