Good afternoon I have a 1988 Chris Craft Catalina 426. Crusader 454's. I have been swapping Tachs out. Now working on an old engine sync. Does anyone know what this box does?
thanks Tony

it looks like maybe this kit.

if so then you should have the control box that turns it on and off and tells you what each engine is doing then it lets you get them together in rpm. if it works, great but if not I would just take it out and either get something more modern or do away with it and listen and feel the rhythm of the engines.

My liberator has 1988 sync guage
it is pretty analog
The needle sweeps towards engine turing more rpms
imo its not very informative
both tachs are now digital
Its pretty easy see wgich engine is turning more
I thought it worked like old vacum gauges,
But it takes a signal from tachs input
My splitter panel looks alor like yours
if it warms up
I will get a pic
