Mirage Props Blowout/cavatation

MANY BOAT OWNERS RUNNING Mirage props have been reported to have alot of cavation when turning or blowout when planing out /or trimming high we have found that just by adding some cupping to the tip and moderate blade thinning but still retaining durabilitly has increased speeds up to 6 mph and in the boating world thats alot. we thought we would let you know, props are like snowflakes there is not one the same .let us know if we can help your mirage prop kick as#######

Darrin,

My Mirage Plus (which you should receive Friday), behaves like you describe. I'm looking forward to the better grip and speed.

That explains alot,,, I have a 23 Mirage Plus that I have thinned and cupped and do not blow it out,,, I tried a 25 + after the motor swap and blew it out,,, Thanks for the Info !!!!!!!!!!

also if you bead blast just the cupped edge of the prop it really helps it bite

No problem Darin. Since you said "not bad", I thought you had already started working on it. I'm not in THAT big of a rush. Anyway, I'd rather you work on mine early in the day when you're fresh.
