Default Needing Stringer Repair/Rebuild Referrals

I have a 28' Velocity with significant termite damage to the entire stringer system... needing referrals for well qualified and experienced person or shop in the southeastern US who can rebuild the stringers, and install a new tank and flooring. The boat was tented right after the termite discovery. All of the stringers have various levels of core destruction and likely need complete replacement... the transom was replaced with Coosa several years ago and is solid. Most of the boat has been gutted down to the stringers and sits inside my garage. Located in the Northwest Florida Panhandle... no problem trailering the boat within a 500 to 600 mile radius.

Happy to provide any additional information.

Thanks in advance!!
Brett

I think Velocity is doing some rebuilds, not sure. Might want to check with them. Sanford is not that far from you, across on 10 down 95.

Thanks... been trading messages with them for over a year and they've just too busy with new builds to take on a project like this. Unfortunate as that was by far my first choice but I'm sure there are others with the knowledge and ability.

Check with Kenny at Let's Talk Boats. I know he does some repairs and refurbishing. Kenny used to be the GM at Velocity. If I remember correctly...He is in Deland

Last couple he did himself. I was just there last weekend.

He is finishing up a 32 fever and has a Velocity in that needs transom stringers. Give him a call Brett.

Ruben does a lot of glass work around here.
Quoted me 6k on a 38 scarab transom replacement last year.
