Well if the general discussion forum is stealing our threads, we should fire back...
Kaama... you dirt bag. How dare you try to get us to converse. You think we are idiots or what??? We have minds of our own you know. I bet you like to shoot manatees don't you??
And Stevedavid... you will hear from my lawyer monday. That is cruel, and punitive damages are in order. I'll be looking for a million in pain and anguish because I do not live in florida and you tormented me.
You might be implicated too Houstonprop!
Lastly... which one of you aholes was running the miss budweiser craft that stole the cover page. How dare you... may all of your piston skirts crack and no one care!!

KAAMA,
If you people don't here from me it's because I have a magazine deadline to meet. Whenever I get a chance I look in but I am usually to busy to respond.
Have a Merry Christmas everyone!

blue thunder is right, punitive damages are a must. Last year I went to Fl. 3 times and this none. I must be nuts to stay in the cold all winter long. My boss told me it was going to slow down over the winter, but it's not happening, So I just read as much as time permits. I have been the only one here alot of times like formula31 also. I love the tech Q&A section.

I'm still here.. have a buddies Alpha spread from one end of the shop to the other, making a puller bushing to replace the D/S roller bearing..Boat has a green tarp over it and the snow is shedding nicely. Made some great ridgepoles with saplings..Shrink wrap is a waste of cash, and you can work in the boat under the tarp.. lots of room and ventilation. Took a funnel , flush muffs and some non toxic antifreeze to the drive, I run FWC so the block is full of glycol anyway. Filling the Risers and exchanger with non toxic is sure a quick way to put the boat to bed..got it covered in about 1/2hr this year too!
I was hoping for a December Scallop diving run, but it is definitely snowmobile season up here in Maine!
I have Dennis Moores SBC book on my x-mas list!

OK guys,
Now you have me feeling a bit guilty over the weather situation. Just kind of guilty, not real guilty........ So here's a peace offering:
Do whatever it takes to make the Miami boat show this year. On Saturday at 4 PM, I'll take you loyal technical forum guys for a fun run in the Black Thunder demo 46' along South Beach.
You can climb all over it, make recommendations for improvements etc., what you like, don't like etc. We'll run it every which way and have some fun too!
The boat is courtesy of the good folks of Hannibal MO that build Black Thunder. We can take 7 besides me. We'll be at the In the Water display behind the Biscayne Bay Marriot. For those that can't make it on Saturday, We'll do it again Sunday afternoon.
So until February,,,,,,, oh that's right most of you are freezing your freeze plugs out until then,,,, We'll be boating most every day, getting sunburned, working on our boats, thinking of our northern friends

By Feb, my boating withdrawl syndrome (BWS) should be full blown. I may have to come down there. I'll be the pale guy (no sun in 4 months) salivating uncontrolably at the thought of a ride on the ocean.
BTW, BWS is characterized by involuntary forward thrusts of the throttle hand while making 525SC motor noises with your mouth. People suffering from it have also been known to spend more time on the internet looking at boating related sites than downlading porn. Sad condition.

As far as the freeze plugs go, I want you to know that I am blessed enough to be able to keep my boat in heated storage---so there!
Well, that is of course as long as we don't have some sort of a power outage here!
