I had a compression test done early in 2002. They tested fine. The motors don't have many hours on them but they are 1993's. Since I added the Whipples to the stock 454's I thought it would be a good idea to upgrade the internals and maybe get a little more hp. I also have a slight oil leak that I can't find that’s driving me crazy.

I was thinking of going with electric fuel pumps. I'm tired of the hard starting thing.

It was suggested to me that I use MSD ignition. The motors have Thunderbolt IV's now. Some say that its not necessary unless a more radical cam is installed. The other benefit would be a rev limiter.
