Does anyone know where I can buy the metallic blue paint they use on HP500 motors? Color codes?

Black.... Lets it warm up faster and plus it came like that from Mecruiser!!

If I had a choice it would be Red block to match the boat.

That's off the can and should be available from any Merc dealer.

BTW it's called High Performance Blue Metalic but I have not seen any increase in speed

I would like to paint my new motor Purple but have had a hard time finding any. Where do you guys get your custom colors made up?

Just picked Blue for my new (rebuilt) engine. I was torn between tht and red witch would kind of match some of the trim on the upholstery. Does it really matter though since it is usually covered up?

Don't think that you are the only one out there with pink engines . The mighty TONTO has them too.
