Well Ike has Pink engines too in War Party so we are all not alone.

Hey you separate the engine hatches, and it is all pink inside
that is the way it is supposed to be right?
Or at least that was the way it was last time I checked.

The color scheme on my boat is blue tones. So I went with a custom "slap you in the face" electric blue which has a white pearl base.

Kieth can you please find out who made your hatch lift for me. Looks like it would work well in my boat. I have been looking for a while.

Thanks
Jon

Jon,

It's the same one as found in the Eddie Marine catalog, but came factory installed from Wellcraft. All I know about it is the motor is a Warner brand. There are local motor repair shops in the Maryland area that carry those motors, rebuilts, and last year I had to send it out for a $110 replacement.

How I found out was from asking some of the guys in my marina, 2 of which are mechanics. They gave me the name of a place who stocks the rebuilt motors, they also have the actuator assemblies. I would suggest the same for you, ask some of the local marine repair shops who they send their actuators to for repair, contact them directly and see if they have any rebuilt units. You can also find them on e-Bay from what Ted (insptech) recently mentioned.

That particular model of hatch lift allows me to lift the hatch almost completely by hand, comes in handy if you have a dead battery. Hope this helps.
