HyperBaja,
I think that you got that wrong. After labbing, the blades RETAIN only 12% of their original strength.
How about it Darin, is this correct??

here on OSO that removing 50% of the blade only reduces the strength by 12%.

that's generous Darin, I appreciate it, I wonder what I can do? 1999 Baja 25 outlaw 502 mag, headers, ecu, K&N, 68 on GPS at 5,000 rpm occasionaly bumping the limiter, what rpm could I get pitching it out to a 25 and labbing and what possible increase in speed?

Pitch to a 24 pitch, add cupping, thin out moderalety, rebalance to perfection and satin finish. You should pickup 2 to 3 mph if the prop is polished, after the mods, it will probably run 69.5 to 70 mph, just my opinion. Also if we polish the prop there will be a small fee of 40.00 extra. your right winter sucks and its cold in Houston tonight./Darin

well since you sound like you know this stuff pretty well
I have a larson senza 25' stepped its the DDC hull
Im running a Stilleto 21 ss it has the vents on it
calculated slip 23-24% 350 mag alpha
3800 dry wt 4700 rpms 1.5r 49-50mph gps
its blows out if I try to trim it out, I mean I start trimming and the speed increases then suddenly I blow out and drop off plane.
Im hearing that a 4 blade would work better only because of this
hull is not a regular v-hull
