Need Help Finding Spec's On Merc 350 Mag
#11
I just read in dennis moore's book that all 350 marine engines were two bolts mains with cast cranks?
So does the mag motor really have forged crank and 4 bolt mains? I never knew cause I didn't take mine apart, just took it out and set in the back of the barn..

I have 1992 350 mag I wish I knew what it was made of
it does have the weber carb I checked that I was told it is only a 600 cfm and was said to have 270hp
Id like some real Info is it a 4 bolt? nope!
cast crank or steel?cast!
How do I know I just asked Dennis Moore on the phone
roller cam no roller rockers
I just ordered it from hi 16.95 + 2.00 ship, Great investment
I think this is the book

I have a 1989 350 Mag on my engine stand that is a two bolt main, a cast crank and no rollers. Unfortnately, a broken spring dropped an intake valve in the #6 cylinder and distroyed the block. I'm going to follow Traviss's lead and build a 383 with all the good stuff the 350 Mag should have had.

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but Im looking for some info on this intake
GM p/n 14096242
It's spoken about in the thread, does this intake work with the style heads that have the 4 different angled bolts around the carb? Thanks

I believe they will work with the Cast Iron Merc heads only.
I gave one to a friend who was intrigued with a cast iron hi-rise for a rat rod. He was miffed that the mounting surface angle wouldn't match up with the std chevy Al head.
If you are referring to the new GM fast burn/Vortec style head definitely not.
I finally sold the carbs and put the intakes in the dumpster
