Default Bravo Top Cap torque

Want to install my drive shower, but no torque spec's in instructions.

Yep 30. It seems like it is not enough, but you are threading into the aluminum housing and can strip it out. Bad deal

top cap specs

don't mean to rain on anyone's parade here, but the torque spec on the bravo top cap is NOT 30 ft lbs!!!!!!!

Merc book is I think 18 to 22 ft lbs - I can will double check if anyone is serious about this (I've got the service manual - just not here).

The book says 20 ft/lbs.
That is the Mercruiser Service Manual #11.
