Boat coming to the shop this weekend to start on Imco extension box, fully hyd steering, some rerig etc. I'll keep posting pics as we progress.

I have another project myself going! Re-doing the whole dash on a 32' Black Thunder.....should be interesting from what i have laid out :D Dash panel should be back from Team Marine later this week.....

I will do some soon.....getting the new dash back this week and will pop all the new gauges and wire it up hopfully this weekend. should look sweet even though it has McDonalds colors to it!! LOL its gonna be white face gauges with yellow trim rings, Black bezels and a red powder coated dash panel! Should be cool. :D

Nice thread. I love the valve covers, are they powder coated?

I'm close by in Mchenry and have a similar project with my 27' Fountain (see Fountain forums).

Thanks, we are finally progressing on this deal. Fit up IMCO extension box last nite. Transom work begins today.
The valve covers are Merc stockers modified for roller rockers and painted. More photos to follow.

This boat is on the Chain, I'm sure you'll know it when you see it.

I'm on the Chain as well. On the valve covers, I put on Crane roller rockers and removed the drippers inside the valve covers. 1 rocker on each side had to be modified to clear the radius inside the valve cover where the bolt hole is. Did you do any- thing else to yours?

Please, DON'T paint with the boat that close! You'll get overspray on it which will leave a rough feel to the surface.

Hey Zoomn, the holes you filled, were those for a speedo pitot tube, the mounting for the hyd steering, and i think there was a small swim platform back there? Are ya gonna move the hyd steering to the other side now? And is it gonna have a GPS speedo now? Just curious more then anything.. :D
