This is the cam that got ordered for these engines, is the 114 lobe seperation too much or should it be 112? and as far as the lifts @ .050 is there more spread than whats needed for the AFR 335 heads -- and what influence would it make? The overall lift looks a little low too? or am I making too much out of it??

Here are the cam specs....
Duration @ .050 240/247
Lobe sep. 114 Int. centerline 110
Lift .618/.629

Please any feedback will be greatly appreciated!!!!!

This cam is now in the engines, AFR has sent the heads --but possibly with the wrong springs for a hydraulic roller cam --above-- is 250 lbs seat pressure too much ?? The builder has changed 1 set to 125 lbs closed and about 320 lbs fully open, does this sound right???

The last thing I want to do is break/float a valve --max rpm will be 5200-5300.

Any insight would be great --- we want to dyno on saturday!!

I'm thinking that your engine would gain from a better exhaust system. You need something that is more like a true header with some good long primaries.

Cord you're probably right! It sucks that i just bought those last year for my 461's--- i didn't think i was going to be going into this kinda ci right away. They'll have to work for now -- I just blew the wad on the motors.

I just did a bunch of searching and found that the 130# seat pressure should be alright from what I've read.

I believe the 1050 Holley is a 4500, not a 4150.
Do they make a 1050 cfm 4150?
