To clarify my statement,
once the l/h rotation lower is installed, the shift cable will have to be switched at the quadrant, so the shifters match direction. L/h alpha lowers , the rear gear is the forward gear, which is the reverse gear in r/h alpha's, thus requiring different cable action. jt |

I have just bought a set of Alpha drives. One is supposed to be a CR unit but is not marked. With the shift tab in the straight position, they both turn in the same direction. I may have gotten screwed. Jt mentioned that the cables must be switched. If so I might have one CR unit. Should I split the upper and lower and start there?
