Default Audio Warning System

Does anyone have any knowledge on Mercruisers audio warning systems? During a day of boating my alarm starts to make noise when I restart my engine after sitting for a while. Oil pressure and water temp. is fine. Any ideas of what else it could be?

Thanks, Rick

If you have a remote reservoir for your drive that's hooked up to the same buzzer

That's probably it because it's a little low. Thanks

There were at least 3 systems that Merc. used, as I recall. Does it just sound from when you hit the key till your engine is up and running and then shut off? If so, the 7 to 14 sec. delay feature for the oil sender is shot. It it just keeps on sounding, then a wire or sender is grounded. --- Jer

Yeah, while I was writing homan came on. The system with the outdrive oil warning was one of the three I referred to. Hope that's it! I like simple solutions!! --- Jer
