I sincerely think you need to start off with a knowledgeable sales staff other than yourself.
As an example, C/P Performance has got a great catalog and quite a knowledgeable sales staff.
I'm sure you will do well, people do get a lot of enjoyment, working on their boats, but get real annoyed when they cannot locate parts or get technical information for their particular application.
Good Luck
Brian

CP's got a nice setup, but their website absolutly SUCKS! You can't find anything! Even if you have the part number!
Alot of people would like to have a premade plug wires. Personally, I've always made mine because I'm just a touch too anal.
We need to start a prop club. It costs $150 to join and for $16 (shippng fee) each you can try as many props as you want. If you damage it, you pay the manufacturer to repair it to original specs. Ok, who's in?

I vote for the prop club idea big time....thats a major problem for all of us and an expensive proposition to make the wrong guess on. Your information is invaluable...I will be buying your book soon just to give you financial support for all the free information you've given us all on this board... thanks... Glenn

The custom-made plug wires are a great idea Dennis. I bought a set of MSD 8.5 mm Super-Conductors (pre-made) for my 454 from CP ($80) a couple weeks ago. They were the ONLY set I could find already made, for my Mercruiser big-block. They fit perfect, but not very crazy about the RED color. Yellow or purple would go with my engine scheme better. I just didn`t want to build my own...........
Other ideas:
A performance "upgrade" kit (cam, intake, etc...) would be nice. Ignition upgrade kit......
Manifolds/headers at good prices!
