intermittant crane roller rocker noise
The guy that built my motor told me Crane are a little noisier than Comp rollerlifters which I had in the other boat. at idle now and then you'll a slight typing or a galloping {like a horse} noise.from the rockers. He said the motor is fine I think they're not adjusted right or a lifter is leaking down. I'm just a moron so can't call him one unless I know for sure. My belief is that with a full roller valve train all I should hear is purr from the motor and TADUH TADUH TADUH TADUH TADUH TADUH from the exhaust

I figuired something wasn't right, this motor comes from someone that works at a well known performace place on Long Island who put the wrong size carb. on the motor, didn't put the exhaust beauty ring seals on properly and put double 1" water dumps out the back so my gils can't totally fill up with water to stay cool. I wonder what else I'll find, what a meat whistle!
