exposed metal on hull
New owner of a '98 Hammer. Noticed, while cleaning, that a small portion of the hull, between the bow point and the waterline, is bare metal.
It's like a metal bar that (I assume) runs from the back of the hull to the front. It looks like it might have been continually rubbed up against something, perhaps when loading on the trailor or beached.
I am expecting the worst as in professional gel-coating the area surrounding.
If you are standing in front of the boat, the hull forms a "V"...this would be where the two lines that form the "V", come together.
Thanx!
